
1. University anti-poverty programmes
1.1 Ensuring access to our university’s study programmes and improving graduation for students from low-income environments
- 95 subsidized places for easier access to studies for rural areas or Roma ethnicity students for the academic year 2022-2023, following the Ministry of Education policy of providing study grants to underprivileged / underrepresented categories from the rural areas or Roma ethnicity.
- 39 subsidized places for high school graduates from the social protection system and with special educational requirements/disabilities.
Monitoring the graduation and completion rate for ensuring the integration of the ASE graduates on the labour market. The specialists of the Centre of Counselling and Career Orientation are in charge with developing surveys on such topics, with the aim of further designing measures and taking action for improving the graduation rate and increasing the quality of teaching:
- Socio-professional insertion of ASE graduates, carried out during 2022. (Details here, p.219)
- Evaluating the opinion of employers, regarding the quality of graduates and study programs offered by ASE, carried out during 2021 (Details here, p.255)
Several other measures are developed in order to ensuring access to our university’s study programmes and improving graduation for students from low-income environments, such as:
- Proactively supporting the transition of students from high school to university life and increasing the retention rate of students in their first year of studies: the ROSE project is specially carried out with this purpose.
- The Faculty of Management within ASE implemented the project “Preventing school dropout – a way to increase the performance of the ManPRO university educational system”. The general objective of the project was to prevent and remedy the phenomenon of dropping out university studies by integrating into remedial programs for 200 students, at risk of dropping out and through the implementation of a coaching program, personal development; guidance and support (tutoring), professional counselling and career guidance for the group.
- One year of free tutoring for first year students at the Faculty of Agri-Food and Environmental Economics.
- Increasing the number of university and non-university tertiary education graduates who find a job as a result of access to learning activities at a potential workplace/research/innovation: the Future Starts project.
- Promoting ASE’s educational offer in disadvantaged areas. An extensive campaign regarding the educational offer of ASE was carried out in high schools in towns with less than 10,000 inhabitants for distributing information about ASE’s educational offer and opportunities.
- Online meetings with students in the final years of high school for providing information about the university, opportunities for development and integration on the labour market.
1.2 Providing support for students
There are several forms of support provided by ASE, among which:
Study facilities:
- Financial supports for students which represent social cases or have a serious medical condition,
- Financial supports for students willing to get involved in activities in the interest of ASE and for involvement in extracurricular activities.
- Practice and internship places provided by the University to undergraduate and master’s students, following the continuously developed institutional partnerships. In 2022, 6380 practice places were available. (Details here, p.35)
Scholarships provided by the university for students from low-income environments or for rewarding those with good academic performances. There are several types of scholarships created in the benefit of students:
- Scholarships for financial support of students with low incomes:
- Social aid scholarships, which are granted throughout the whole academic year to students with low incomes for covering accommodation expenses in student dormitories and meals.
- Occasional social aid scholarships, consisting of a social aid scholarship for clothing and footwear, scholarship for maternity or in case of the death of a member of the student’s family
- Merit scholarships, for those with notable professional results
- Performance scholarships for outstanding learning outcomes
- Performance scholarships for:
- outstanding results in scientific research activity;
- outstanding results in cultural, organizational and sports activities.
- Other special scholarships can be granted from own funds to students who carry out activities in the interest of the ASE.
- Two special scholarships of EUR 1,000 each – King Carol 1st and Queen Elisabeth – are granted to students with good results and with a very low income per family member.
ASE selects students who want to get involved in activities in the interest of the university and receive a monthly scholarship to cover the value of the tuition fee.

Scholarships and internships provided by the private environment: ASE concluded 271 partnerships and agreements with companies, associations or institutions in Romania which target (details here, p.96), among others:
- private scholarships and awards for ASE students;
- practice places for ASE students;
- programs for students with the aim of informing, educating and supporting them in their professional career;
- participation of specialists in courses and conferences organized by faculties.
- Tuition fee reduction of RON 400 for undergraduate students of the Faculty of Agri-food and Environmental Economics, who have a permanent residence in the countryside from undergraduate university study programs. (Details here, p.180)
- Extension of the tuition fee payment period, given the difficult situation and the large number of requests for the extension of the tuition fee payment period.
- Exemption from paying the registration fee and from paying the tuition fee for students who will be enrolled in the “Public Administration for Sustainable Development” postgraduate study program.
Free tablets for all ASE students, beneficiaries of social grants and occasional social scholarships, to help them in the learning process.
Subsidized accommodation in ASE student dorms for students whose families earn an average net monthly income per family member less than the value of the minimum net basic salary per economy have priority for accommodation in students dorms (Methodology for accommodation in ASE hostels, art 1(1c)).

The Academy of Hope – a socio-humanitarian volunteering project under the aegis of ASE. Actions are dedicated to both the members of the university community and of communities confronting difficult situations. (Details here, p.177)
Research projects in which ASE is involved for dealing with inequality:

ASE also develops projects where the university is involved for supporting students in their learning process for improving graduation, such as:

- Supporting the development of skills and entrepreneurial initiatives among ASE Bucharest students (ASEdezvolta)

- Supporting, sustaining and promoting entrepreneurship and innovation among ASE Bucharest students
- Collaborative platform for developing the relationship with the business environment and for identifying employment opportunities for students

- Increasing the institutional capacity for the training of students’ practical skills in the field of sustainable development and environmental protection by creating an educational hub
1.3 Assisting students for successfully completing their studies
Plans and programmes specially designed to prevent school dropout target students from the first year of study, who are in situations with a high risk of university dropout or belonging to disadvantaged groups. The project “The echo of adaptability in the university environment” aims to proactively support the transition of students from high school to university life and increase the retention rate of students in their first year of studies.
ASE is part of the PREVIEW project, which aims to promote innovative online learning and teaching practices to train students and graduates with the necessary skills to address the social and professional challenges arising from the digital age. To this end, curricula is student-centered to bridge the gap between supply and demand for skills needed in the new remote/virtual work environments. The project envisages the design, development and testing of an innovative university course which, through remote/virtual internships and other e-Learning by doing activities, will enable students and graduates to develop the employability skills required by the remote working scenario.
The Centre of Counselling and Career Orientation in ASE provides support services (guidance, information and advice) for students, prospective students and international students, especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds and at risk of early abandonment of studies, in order to ensure student retention in academic studies and integrate graduates on the labour market.
12,852 people benefited of the Centre of Counselling and Career Orientation support in 2022, among which:
- Students involved in workshops/webinars/counselling sessions on various topics such as: “Challenges of the transition from online to onsite – adaptation strategies”, “Tips & tricks for writing the graduation paper”, “Time management and supporting learning activities”, aspects related to the legal provisions regarding contracts for: work, volunteering, internships, internships, the annual “Big Brother” program, etc.
- Students involved in actions/group counselling sessions held in partnership with student organizations:
- In collaboration with the Administration and Human Resources Student Association (ASARU), within the “Pathfinder project – Realization of the future plan” – the workshop with the theme “Career counseling and guidance. The importance of self-knowledge in career decision”;
- In partnership with USASE, within the “Heal Your Brain” project, workshops with themes such as “How do we make the transition from online to onsite?”, How to approach burnout?” and “Time Management”;
- In collaboration with ASCIG, the workshop on the topic “Thinking style: when the irrational becomes rational”.
- Students involved in personal development courses within the project “StudentASE! Equity, Inclusion, Access for ASE students”.
- Students involved in actions/group counselling sessions held online in programmes specially designed to prevent school dropout, on various topics such as: “The importance of personal values in the career”, “Thinking style: rational versus irrational”, “Self-knowledge. Personality tests” etc.
Career counselling for ASE students, with the participation of representatives of the following employers: Authority for the Digitization of Romania, the National Agency of Civil Servants, the Special Telecommunications Service, Mazars, Alpha Bank Romania, the National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Romania (UNSAR), Google Romania, Catalyst Solutions, ING Bank, KPMG, Microsoft, etc. (Details here, p.39)
Various meetings with the participation of alumni, which were aimed at opening the dialogue between alumni and current students and developing an exchange of views to support current and future generations of students and alumni in building a successful professional career. Also, at the faculty level, groups and virtual networks dedicated to communication with ASE graduates were developed in which information is published regarding the activities/events carried out by the faculties, opportunities to participate in conferences, seminars organized in collaboration with the business environment, opportunities to employment or practice/internship. The first edition of the „Becoming a Leader” programme, for developing leadership skills among ASE students. The special guests of this event were representatives from the business environment with rich experience in leadership positions, such as Mariana Gheorghe, Șerban Toader, Octavian Bellu, Mihaela Bițu, Elisabeta Moraru, Adrian Iacobus.
Activities for facilitating the integration on the labour market:
- Future Stars: project aiming to increase the number of graduates who find a job, by strengthening sustainable institutional partnerships between the university and private employers.
- Tutoring provided by students: the “Elite ASE” project aims to help students who have difficulties in understanding courses and seminar on different subjects by organizing tutoring sessions between students (Details here, p.70).
- Workshop on “Professional decisions and the labor market”, organized in collaboration with the National Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies of Romania (UNSAR) and the ASE Alumni Association. The topics addressed in the workshop were: career management, skills and competencies targeted by employers and professional opportunities in the field of insurance for ASE students.
- Workshop on “Key skills in the banking career – how to make a career in banking”, organized in collaboration with Alpha Bank Romania. The company presented the particularities of the professions in the banking field, what are the steps to follow in order to practice in this field, opportunities for internships and internships, as well as concrete examples from the activity banking and the banking profession.
- The conference “Career Counseling and Future Professions”, an event that brought together over 40 specialists – representatives of counseling centers from public and private universities in Bucharest and the country (Timişoara, Cluj, Pitesti, Târgovişte, Craiova), representatives of the business environment, teaching staff, students. - Speak Your Mind – Communication is the key: project dedicated to all ASE students who face the fear of public speaking, structured in 3 workshops: Talk with me – How to share easily and communicate without fear; Behind your mind – How to manage your emotions; Let’s debate it – Open discussion on “What would I do if I were a CEO?” (Details here, p.69).
Internship fair, yearly organized with the aim of facilitating second-year students’ access to an internships. Top business partners which participated in this event: Deloitte, KPMG, PricewatherhouseCoopers, BDO Romania, Contexpert Consulting, Huawei, Mazars, Ottobroker, PKF Finconta, Process Solutions, RMS Romania, Societe Generale Global Solution Centre, TPA Romania.
Free of charge, supplementary training in Microeconomics and Mathematics to support first-year students in undergraduate university programs.
The Big Brother programme, through which the experience of students from older years is integrated with the information needs of first-year students.
Mentoring and internships for students in Accounting and Finance or in Business Administration and International Business and Economics. The projects offer students the opportunity to increase their chances of successfully integrating into the labour market or starting their own business. Within the project, students will participate in various activities: internships held at top employers; career guidance programs; study/thematic visits to companies; information sessions; career workshops with the participation of employers.

- Elite ASE – helping students who have difficulties in understanding some topics, especially subjects from the first year of the bachelor’s degree. Specially dedicated to students who have different pre-university training compared to the field related to the subjects proposed for analysis (Details here, p.70)
1.4 Support for students from low or lower-middle income countries
Scholarships for foreign citizens in low or lower-middle income countries: 197 places were provided for students from the Republic of Moldova, neighbouring countries and lower-middle income countries financed from the state budget out of which 156 benefited of scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.
ASE in solidarity with Ukraine
- Special support for Ukrainian students. Ukrainian citizens can benefit from the allocation of study places without paying tuition fees.
- ASE organized a humanitarian hub in support of Ukraine, intended for certain categories of foreign citizens or stateless persons, originating from Ukraine. Goods, medicines, telephone and internet prepaid sim cards, accommodation and money were collected in the accounts of the ASE Foundation were donated.
- Accommodation spaces available for refugees from Ukraine, as follows:
- the building of the Professional Training Center in the city of Covasna, with hotel-type facilities (15 rooms, 2 apartments, conference and lecture rooms), with priority for the families of Ukrainian students studying in Romania;
- 30 rooms in the ASE university campus in Bucharest for foreign students studying at universities in Ukraine and transiting Romania.
Support, counselling and information provided by the Centre of Counselling and Career Orientation.
Focus on foreign students: ASE provides housing in Bucharest, subsidized meals, medical services, sport facilities.
ASE created a special programme for teaching Romanian as a foreign language to international/foreign students (and not only) at a high academic level, focused on 3 modern conceptual skills: Professionalism, Multiculturalism and Europeanism.
Strengthening collaboration with the Republic of Moldova
- Partnership Agreement between ASE Bucharest and ASE Moldova for the start of the Executive Education program (postgraduate program) Business Strategy and Digital Transformation.
- ASE delegation visiting ASE Moldova at the International Scientific Conference “Competitiveness and innovation in the knowledge economy”. During the visit, new inter-university directions were discussed in order to facilitate the exchange of ideas and good practices and the establishment of new objectives for academic collaboration through the implementation of bilateral didactic development projects.
Research project and international collaboration for dealing with economic and social inequalities:
- “Empowerment through liquid integration of migrant youth in vulnerable conditions” (MIMY). Together with 14 other institutions from 9 countries, ASE is a partner in the research consortium coordinated by the University of Luxembourg.

Center de Réussite Universitaire – CRU ASE (Center for Francophone Studies) organized a Training workshop and debates with the topic “S’informer sur l’international. Décryptages des enjeux de notre monde contemporain au moyen du Dessous des cartes avec ART”, at which 25 presentations were held that raised interesting debates about the international challenges of the post-truth era. The meeting between Alumni – and the students from the Romanian language preparatory year, with the theme “University experiences and achievements as a foreign student in Romania”, with the aim of building a bridge between alumni and future graduates of this program. 2. Community anti-poverty programmes
2.1 Assistance for local start-up
Educational resources, both free and paid, and financial assistance
The Student Entrepreneurship Society: creating a favourable environment and a complementary framework for supporting and developing the entrepreneurial spirit of ASE students through training, consulting, mentoring, networking and organizing competitions of ideas and business plans. Main activities:
- The 6th edition of the GoBiz business idea contest: supporting students wishing to start a business, through training sessions and mentoring, in order to develop a coherent business plan.
- Continuing the project “ROLEmodel – We promote entrepreneurial students” for identifying and supporting students who have their own business, wishing to share their successful stories for inspiring other students to open a business. The Meet & Greet type events were started in which young entrepreneurs, students at ASE Bucharest, are invited to share their entrepreneurial experience with students passionate about entrepreneurship.
- Exchange of best practices regarding the activity of encouraging entrepreneurial initiative among students and the development of business incubators, which took place at the “Startup Sauna” entrepreneurship center of the Aalto University in Espoo, Finland and at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, the Netherlands.
- The event “Opportunities for young entrepreneurs – Innovation Labs” provided information about Innovation Labs, the main university program for accelerating tech start-ups in Romania, but also about various opportunities that young people can use to finance their business. CA oct
- Providing mentoring activities for entrepreneurial students through the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp.
- Developing the ASE Entrepreneur community, which brings together students with entrepreneurial initiative from the university. The aim is to develop an entrepreneurial ecosystem in the university to support projects of student associations aimed at contributing to the development of the entrepreneurial spirit among ASE Bucharest students
814 ASE students enrolled in entrepreneurial training programs, of which 673 students completed the courses and obtained the certificate of entrepreneurial skills. Moreover, 105 ASE students participated in the business plan competitions, and 25 of them obtained non-refundable funding between EUR 40,000 – 100,000 for each established company. The total cumulative value of business plans won by ASE students who obtained funding was over RON 6.8 million. (Details here, p.101)
Faculty of Business Administration in foreign languages organized the first International Entrepreneurship School addressed to students and graduates of higher education (alumni) who want to develop their entrepreneurial skills. It is meant to incubate business ideas with the aid of academics, entrepreneurs and business experts. The intention is to set a benchmark in this area of pre-incubation and mentoring of future entrepreneurs.
The second edition of the Leadership School was organized, a project carried out in the framework of the partnership between ASE and Carrefour, providing an executive education training program adapted to the needs of the beneficiary company, with experts from the Romanian and French business environment.
Involvement in the launch of the first SME hub, a program dedicated to the entrepreneurial environment. The aim is to build an interactive platform for consulting entrepreneurs regarding the difficulties they encounter, to disseminate with their help financial education programs aimed at the entrepreneurial environment and its employees, as well as to present and better understand some concepts from within the non-banking financial markets.
Free business consulting services, provided by students under the supervision of professors in ASE. Under this unique approach in the Romanian university environment, over 1312 students have offered free generic consulting for 350 Romanian entrepreneurs in the last five years.
Free training materials for entrepreneurs, for supporting the personal and organizational development process.
Launch of the ASE-Penny project “100 business ideas for Romania”. Together with ASE, PENNY analyzed 100 opportunities for the development of local businesses in fields of activity such as agriculture, packaging production or cosmetic products, in order to find solutions that will be able to offer Romanians 100% Romanian products.

Organizing different domestic and international conferences focused on developing businesses and providing training workshops, open to the general public.
The Centre of Excellence in Foreign Trade: hub of projects, applications and actions dedicated to Romanian exporters and entrepreneurs in their efforts to improve their presence on global markets. The Centre continued the previously started projects aimed at supporting the national business environment in the effort to improve the presence on global markets. One of the Centre’s objectives is to provide entrepreneurial and financial education, especially as a form of support for small and medium enterprises which tend to internationalize. 2.2 Training or programmes to improve access to basic services for all
Youth entrepreneurship school – project that involves the meeting of numerous entrepreneurs, well known in the business field. During the event, the participants will be face to face with success stories, the most important secrets that need to be known for starting a start-up, including the chance to get funding for their business ideas (Details here, p.65).
The Centre of Counselling and Career Orientation provides specialized support to persons who have been, are and will be included in the educational programs of ASE and not only, in order to optimize their educational and professional path.
The ASE Library provides free training sessions on various topics.
The ASE Library provides free access to online courses, digitized publications, eBooks etc.
Involvement in social activities for the community:
- Share smiles – donations to people in a precarious situation (Details here, p.70).
- Enlighten souls – humanitarian fair to support special social cases (Details here, p.70).
- Organizing fundraising activities for children’s orphanages;
- Tree planting actions carried out by students. (Details here, p.105)
- Partners with the Association Education is Power within the Educational Project “Santa’s Library – on the principle of being better”, a project through which the involvement’s increase of the local and national educational community in solving situations that present a risk of school dropout is aimed, by creating environments conducive to learning. ASE contributed to the endowment of the libraries in schools and high schools in Olt county, through donations of pedagogical and informational resources: children’s books, dictionaries, atlases, encyclopedias, specialized and technical books, school textbooks, collections and aids, supplies needed by students and teachers depending on the training programs and the needs for methodical improvement.
Basic First Aid courses organized by ASE and the SMURD Foundation, within the Project “The Academy of Hope – Volunteering from Love for Life”.
The programme “Heal your brain” dedicated to mental health hosted workshops with topics on: “How to tackle burnout?”, “How do we make the transition from online to physical? – How to approach burnout?”, “Stress Management”and “Time Management”. (Details here, p.37)
Faculty of Agri-food and Environmental Economics in partnership with the National Agency of the Mountain Region, organized a Professional Training Program Regarding Local Gastronomy Points.
ASE Foundation’s main aim is to support the educational and scientific process in the economic field. The ASE Foundation is involved in various projects for the support of persons in difficulty, by attracting and using resources and economic goods, in the form of subsidies, subscriptions, donations, contributions, sponsorships and other sources of funding.
In order to prepare the workforce at the local level, ASE Foundation supports the establishment of a territorial distance learning center in the city of Tulcea. The initiative is part of the management program of ASE on the initiation and development of new professional training projects in areas with significant potential for economic and social growth.
Participation in the launch of the Internship Guide of the French Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Romania, together with representatives of the business environment, authorities and students. The guide helps the professional insertion of young people on a basis of skills harmonized with the needs of the business environment, thus strengthening the ability of companies to recruit and retain talent.
Participation in the event “Night of European Researchers”, dedicated to the direct relationship between researchers and the public and which presents the diversity of research year after year, emphasizing its impact on everyday life.
The ASE Museum, opened to the general public on Museum Night, was visited by more than 600 people who learned details about the University and visited the ASE art gallery, as well as a series of relics from the distant past of the institution.
Collaboration between Hunedoara Prefecture and ASE to establish joint projects in support of the business environment and the young people of Hunedoara. ASE has a Territorial Education Center in Hunedoara, therefore concrete actions of the stages of institutional collaboration between the Prefect’s Institution and the higher education unit were established. The director of the ASE center intends to establish a logistic support center in the field of business management and administration, which would carry out projects for the business environment in the area.
2.3 Policy addressing poverty
Throughout its activity involving research projects, support for students or participation in developing policy measure, ASE shows is commitment to promote real change in addressing poverty. Some examples include the following:
ASE has a Research Centre for Sustainable Development! A detailed report on ASE’s involvement in addressing SDGs is available on the website.
The centre has the following mission (Details here, p.178):
• to contribute to the development of top research in the fields it deals with in accordance with the needs of society and the economy, taking into account the productive and supporting capacity of the environment;
• to contribute to the development of knowledge, stimulating creativity, encouraging innovation and providing realistic, effective and sustainable solutions to ensure the development and transformation of our society in accordance with the new European and global strategic vision and need for sustainable development;

ASE is partner in different projects that enable the university to be an active designer and promoter of measures for addressing poverty and sustainable development, such as:
- “Economic, Social and Spatial Inequalities in Europe in the Era of Global Mega-trends” – ESSPIN
- “Understanding and modeling the spatio-temporal structures of inequalities and polarization in relation to psychological characteristics” – STIP
- “Empowerment through liquid integration of migrant youth in vulnerable conditions” – MIMY
- “Analysis of the impact of current uncertainties on the economic environment” – INCERTEC. The project carried out a series of in-depth multidisciplinary studies on the Romanian economy to analyze the impact of current uncertainties on the economic and social environment. At the same time, the main effects of these uncertainties were identified, as well as strategic and tactical approaches to minimize the negative effects of these disturbances. (Details here, p.56)

Collaboration with the public and private environment:
- ASE contributed to the book “The Romanian economic model in the EU – HORIZON 2040”, which proposes the development model of the Romanian economy. The project is addressed to representatives of the economic and social business environment, universities, the Romanian Parliament, the Presidency.
- The Center for Excellence in Foreign Trade operationalized the theme “Romania – growth engines: the agri-food sector, the IT sector, the energy sector, the creative sector, the health services sector, education and research”, and the first event was organized on November 15, 2022 in partnership with the Faculty of International Business and Economics and the Faculty of Agri-food and Environmental Economics. The topic of the first meeting was the agri-food sector, with representatives of public and private sector institutions providing concrete proposals for improving the trade balance in this area. - The research project “Barometer of the Business Environment in Romania 2022” lays the foundations of a tradition centred on the annual presentation of the state of the Romanian business environment, by creating the business barometer index – “RBI – Romanian Business Index”. The results of this assessment tool are useful for potential investors and for government institutions responsible for developing and monitoring economic policies and supporting the business environment.
- ASE launched the student project competition “Digitization in ASE”. Students had the opportunity to interact and showcase their ideas and creativity, the objective of all being the development of the digital component at the level of the faculties, but also within the university.
- Participation in the debate „Challenges of Romanian agriculture” in the context of the EU strategy “From farm to consumer” and the new common agricultural policy (CAP), organized by the European Institute in Romania and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The objective of the conference was to promote the transition to sustainable agricultural and food systems and improve food safety to stimulate production quality.
- Workshop on the topic: “Creating the culture of sustainability – premise of the adoption of competitive and healthy economic practices from the perspective of the environment and social responsibility”, event which was also attended by representatives from the business environment. The workshop had a series of debate topics related to: The transition to ESG and the impact on Romanian companies; Sustainability – central element of the business strategy. Accessing “green” sources of financing; Good practices of ASE partner companies, in the field of innovation and digitization from the perspective of environmental protection and social responsibility.
Global perspective for generating solutions in the business environment for dealing with inequalities:
- Bucharest Business School International Team Challenge competition gathered together students of the Romanian-Canadian EMBA study program and Athena School of Management, Mumbai (India) around challenges such as Food waste behavior among Romanian consumers.
- The project „Resilient and Sustainable Supply Chains- an Eastern European Perspective”, meant to deepen the knowledge and skills in the logistics field, occasioned an exchange of experience between ASE and students from EDC Paris Business School, who carried out joint didactic activities at the ASE Covasna educational hub and exchanges of professional experience at companies in Brașov, Covasna, Ploiesti.
ASE participation in conferences targeting problems that generate and maintain poverty during 2022:
- Participation in the International Scientific Conference Competitiveness of Agro-food and Environmental Economy (CAFE), 11th edition. During the event, aspects from the field of agri-food systems, regional and rural development, sustainable development, agri-food economy, environmental policy and management were debated.
- ASE organized the Conference: “Romania and leading industries: How we can use the opportunity of the accelerated reset of the European economy”. The discussions and debated topics focused on solutions for the accelerated reset of the European economy, under the pressure of re-establishing the poles of economic power triggered by the war in Ukraine. The event was attended by ASE officials, experts, businessmen, teachers and students.
- Organizing The National Economic Forum “The Romanian economic model in the European Union. Romania-Horizon 2040”. Heads of central agencies, state secretaries, presidents of county councils, members of ASPES, AGER and AFER, representatives of pupils and students participated in the Forum.
- Debate in ASE on the topic “Vision, resilience, transformation – an agenda for Romania 2030”, held in partnership with the Romania 2030 Association and the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung Foundation. The event was attended by His Excellency, Mr. Mircea Geoană, Deputy Secretary General of NATO, together with representatives of ASE and the economic and social environment.
- Participation in the International Conference „Present Issues of Global Economy” in Constanta. The event, which took place in a hybrid format, was attended by over 150 contributors from the country and abroad.
- Participation at the Conference “Sustainable Agriculture and Rural Development III” organized by the Institute of Agrarian Economy in Belgrade, Serbia, with topics related to the challenges in the field of agriculture and rural development in recent years, about the need to support workers in the field to overcome the difficulties encountered , but also about the partnership between ASE and the Institute of Agrarian Economy in Belgrade in the field of scientific research and innovation.
